It says something about the head-spinning development of AI that there was an article this week marvelling at the fact a human can still code better than a computer. Imagine.
The Guardian reports that a human elite coder named Psyho competed against AI and won. But only just edged it. He is quoted as saying:
“I helped develop AI and I would be the one who would be the loser of the match. Although I won, in the end, for now.”
He adds:
“At the current state, humans—top humans, to be clear—are still much better at reasoning and solving complex problems.”
This competition highlights the ongoing debate of Humans vs AI coding, showing that while AI is advancing rapidly, human expertise remains essential when it comes to solving complex challenges.
