In June, DCP-Solutions had the pleasure of working with the Bristol School of Acting to help bring budding actors’ work to the screen.

Working closely with Matthew Humphreys, director of acting programmes, we prepared and delivered a Digital Cinema Package (DCP) so the students’ performances could screen in lights, with the polish and presentation their work deserved. Seeing your own performance projected on a full cinema screen is a different experience entirely. It’s a moment that gives students a genuine taste of what it feels like to have their work shown as part of a real cinema programme, and it’s exactly the kind of milestone that can help build confidence and ambition early in a young actor’s career.

We were thrilled with how the screening went, and even more pleased to hear it directly from Matthew:

“Thanks so much. Yesterday was a big success. We will definitely be coming back.”

Comments like this are exactly why we love this part of the work. Helping educators and institutions showcase their students’ talent on the big screen is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do at DCP-Solutions.

If you’re running a course, festival, or programme and want your students’ or filmmakers’ work seen the way it deserves to be seen, get in touch with DCP-Solutions, we’d love to work with you.
